Family Guy is hilarious. The Simpsons used to be the greatest show ever but the new episodes are stupid. Only the classic Simpsons episodes were good. Now, Family Guy is great.

Oh Man, I gotta say that I Freakin Love Family Guy. Stewie is really just too damn funny. And the way they all treat Meg...I feel bad for that girl, but its something that you just have to laugh at! I really enjoy both shows though, but if they were on at the same time chances are I am going with Family Guy...unless I have already seen the episode playing more than five times!!!

I like both. If I had to choose one it would be the Simpsons. Mainly because I find the simpson style of joke delivery more paletable. What I mean is a lot of the Family Guy jokes are told in an abnoxious way. Kind of like someone telling you a joke and after setting it up goes, "okay here comes the punchline, are you ready? I am about to tell you the punchline are you sure you're ready? Here it goes..."

Family Guy is so much better than the Simpsons. The simpsons has been going down hill since 2004 but Family Guy gets better each season and has a larger fan base 15 million to be correct the simpsons only have 8 million these days.

It's a difficult debate but I'll say The Simpsons. I find they just make me laugh out loud more than Family Guy. In my opinion Family Guy has more long dumb songs, tedious fight scenes, & they bank mainly on envelope-pushing insult humor that is more shocking than funny.

I love both shows just about equally but if forced I'd have to pick The Simpsons. They make me laugh out loud more than Family Guy. Family Guy has more annoying long drawn-out fight scenes like when Peter fights a chicken for no reason that's obviously just filler. The Simpsons' writers are far more intelligent and clever. FG writers just go for the short pop-culture induced harsh insult, that winds up being more shocking than funny.
